Our VAlues
We invite the bible to change us
Hebrews 4:12
The Bible is the Holy Word of God and, as such, when our lives don't align with the Bible, we need to change. We should NEVER change the Bible in order to align with modern sensibilities.
This is our aspirational desire and, while we will never reach this desire fully (in this life), it is worth chasing and guides all other values.
Heart for the lost
Mark 5:1-20
The Bible shows us there is no one (not even you) too far from salvation in Jesus. Because of this belief, we will boldly do whatever it takes (short of sin) to interact with and reach lost people.
conviction
Mark 11:15-18
If we don't believe in something conviction, we don't believe it's worth doing. Everything we do, we do with passionate conviction.
growth
Hebrews 6:1
The Bible is clear that the Christian walk is full of growth (spiritually, emotionally, and in maturity). While growth is not always comfortable (i.e. when you first begin to exercise it is not pleasant), growing in Jesus is a sign of a true Believer in Jesus Christ.
excellence
Colossians 3:23
Everything we do, we do as if we are doing it for God Himself - because we are doing it for God Himself. If God humbled Himself as a man, and died on a cross for you and me, the least we can do in gratitude, is the best we have to offer.
authenticity
John 4:4-26
We are who we say we are. Whether at church, work, or resting we are the same people. We do not leave double lives.
